Drip League (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates dripleague.gg. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our Site, you consent to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information from Discord OAuth. When you register or log in, we receive the following from Discord:
- Discord username and discriminator
- Discord user ID
- Email address associated with your Discord account
- Avatar image
2.2 Registration Form Data. Through our Forminator-powered registration forms, you may provide:
- Activision ID (gamertag)
- Nationality and region
- Availability preferences (play times)
- Team name and related information
- Team role selection (Player or Captain)
Registration form submissions are stored in our WordPress database and used solely for league operations. We do not use form data for marketing purposes.
2.3 Profile Information. Through your Player Dashboard, you may provide:
- Player bio
- Recruiting status and availability
- Play time preferences
2.4 Purchase Information. When you make Pro Shop purchases, our payment processor (Stripe via WooPayments) collects:
- Billing name and address
- Payment card details (processed and stored by Stripe, not by us)
- Email address for order confirmations
2.5 Automatically Collected Information. Like most websites, we collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URL
- Cookies necessary for authentication and site functionality
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Display your player profile, stats, and league standings
- Facilitate team registration, match scheduling, and stat reporting
- Process Pro Shop orders and send purchase confirmations
- Send league announcements and match notifications via Discord
- Enforce league rules and maintain fair play
- Improve Site functionality and user experience
4. Information Sharing
4.1 Public League Information. The following is publicly visible on the Site as part of normal league operations:
- Player name/alias, team affiliation, and stats
- Match results and standings
- Player profile content you choose to share (bio, region, availability)
- Activision ID (displayed on your player profile)
4.2 Third-Party Services. We share information with the following services as necessary to operate the Site:
- Discord – Authentication and league notifications
- Stripe (WooPayments) – Payment processing for Pro Shop purchases
- miniOrange – Discord OAuth login integration
- LiteSpeed – Web hosting and caching
- Google Fonts – Typography delivery (Barlow and Inter font families)
4.3 Third-Party Data Sources. We receive data from:
- Discord – Profile information during OAuth login (username, email, avatar)
We do not receive data from advertisers or data brokers.
4.4 No Sale of Data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4.5 ARMA Merchandise. When you click merchandise links in our Pro Shop, you are redirected to arma.gg. Any information you provide to ARMA is governed by their privacy policy. We do not share your account data with ARMA.
5. Comments and Media
5.1 Comments. When visitors leave comments on News posts, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. Comments and their associated data are retained indefinitely so they can be recognized and approved automatically for future submissions.
5.2 Media Uploads. Users may upload profile photos or other images in the future. Uploaded files will be publicly accessible. Images may contain embedded metadata (EXIF data) such as location information. We recommend stripping metadata from images before uploading. Uploaded media is stored on our servers for as long as your account is active.
6. Analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to track user behavior. Basic server-level statistics may be collected by our hosting provider (LiteSpeed) for performance monitoring purposes. These statistics are anonymous and aggregated.
7. Cookies
We use cookies for:
- Authentication (

8. Data Retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
- Comments and their associated data are retained indefinitely
- Registration form submissions are retained in the WordPress database for the duration of your account
- League statistics are retained indefinitely as part of the league’s historical record
- Order records are retained as required for tax and legal compliance
- Server logs are retained for up to 3 months
- Redirect cookies expire automatically after 10 minutes
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data by viewing your player profile and account settings
- Update your profile information through the Player Dashboard
- Update your email address through the Shop Account settings
- Request deletion of your account by contacting us on Discord
- Request export of your personal data by contacting us on Discord
Note: Deletion of your account does not remove historical league statistics (match results, standings), as these are part of the league’s competitive record.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all Site traffic
- Payment data handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)
- Discord OAuth for authentication (we never see or store your Discord password)
- Regular database maintenance and access controls
- Content filtering on user-submitted text
No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Data Breach Procedures
In the event of a data breach that compromises personal information, we will:
- Investigate the scope and nature of the breach
- Notify affected users through our Discord server and/or email within a reasonable timeframe
- Take immediate steps to contain and remedy the breach
- Review and strengthen security measures as needed
12. Where Your Data Is Stored
The Site is hosted on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
13. Automated Decision Making
We do not engage in automated decision making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on users. Content filtering (profanity checks) is applied to user-submitted text but does not affect account standing without human review.
14. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or our Discord server. The “Last updated” date at the bottom indicates when this policy was most recently revised.
