No. Drip League is a structured, pro-style competitive league - not a traditional clan battle server. It's built around the same format as old-school competitive gaming leagues that ran on weekly professional sports schedules: one match per week, tracked stats, live standings, and end-of-season tournaments.
First, make sure you've joined the Task Force Drip Discord server and clicked the green Verify button in the #verify channel - the site uses Discord login for all signups. Once you're verified, head to dripleague.gg/player-registration and fill out the player registration form. When you reach the Team Join Code field, leave it completely blank and hit submit - that's it. You'll be automatically placed in the Free Agent pool and added to the Free Agent Marketplace, where team captains can find and recruit you, or you can browse available teams and apply directly.
Drip League uses Discord as its identity layer. You sign in to the site with your Discord account, which links your in-game stats, team membership, badges, and league record to your Discord profile. It also lets the Discord bot recognize you for slash commands like
/profile and ladder challenges. There's no separate site password to remember - if you can log into Discord, you can log into Drip League. That's the Discord verification gate. It means the site doesn't yet see you as a verified member of the Task Force Drip server. Click the popup, join the server, click the green Verify button in the #verify channel, then refresh the page and try again. If you're already in the server, refreshing the page is usually enough - the verification check runs fresh on every page load.
Your Player Dashboard is your personal hub on the site. From there you can update your profile info (region, play times, Discord handle, bio, and photo), toggle your recruiting status on or off to appear or disappear from the Free Agent Marketplace, and bump your listing to rise to the top of the player pool. Spotlight and Pro tier players get additional visibility features including an enhanced listing style and auto-bump.
First, make sure you're in the Task Force Drip Discord and verified in #verify - the site uses Discord login for all signups. The team captain then completes the team registration form at dripleague.gg/team-registration. Upon submission, a unique Join Code is generated for your team. That code is permanently displayed at the top of your Captain Dashboard, so you can retrieve and share it any time - no need to capture it on the spot. Players enter it in the Team Join Code field during their own registration at dripleague.gg/player-registration, which automatically links them to your roster. A minimum of 5 players is required to field a lineup.
Drip League uses a promotion and relegation system shaped after the competitive gaming leagues of old - built around weekly schedules and skill-based advancement. Divisions from bottom to top are:
Open → Intermediate → Main → Premier → Invite
The top teams from each division promote at the end of every season, while the bottom teams relegate. There are no fixed franchises - any team can climb all the way to Invite.

Our primary focus is Call of Duty, with Hardcore Search & Destroy as our competitive format. HC S&D is the mode Drip League was built around -- tight maps, no respawns, high stakes, one life to close out a round. Community members play a wide range of other modes and games too. Everyone is welcome, but the league competition itself is HC S&D only.
Just join the Drip Discord server. No tryouts, no required gamertags, no fees -- you are in as soon as you land. If you want to compete in the league, head to player registration and fill out the form to get onto a roster.
The Pubstar Ladder is Drip's solo competitive ladder for Hardcore Search & Destroy. You hold a position on a global leaderboard and climb by challenging players within 5 spots above you. It runs alongside the main team league season and is open to anyone verified in the Discord. No team required, no roster commitment - just you, your scoreboard, and the ladder.
Make sure you're in the Task Force Drip Discord and verified in #verify, then visit the Pubstar pages on the site or use the bot's slash commands in Discord to register. New players join at the bottom of the ladder and start climbing from there.
Challenge any player within 5 spots above you on the ladder. You both queue into the same public HC S&D matchmaking lobby and play the match as normal. The challenge winner is whoever finishes higher on the scoreboard between the two of you - you don't have to top the lobby, just outperform your opponent. The scoreboard factors kills, plants, defuses, and objective score. Win and you take their position on the ladder; lose and nothing changes (no penalty for trying). Full rules and edge cases are on the Pubstar Rules page.
Challenged players have 48 hours to accept and play the match. If they don't respond, they forfeit automatically and you take their spot on the ladder. You can only have one active challenge at a time, and there's a 7-day cooldown before you can re-challenge the same opponent - so if someone keeps ducking you, complete a challenge against someone else first, then come back.
After the match, both players screenshot the final scoreboard showing all player stats and post it in the #clips-and-scoreboards channel in Discord. Then both players submit results independently at /pubstar-submit/, selecting who won and entering their stats (kills, deaths, plants, defuses, and objective score). Both submissions need to agree on the winner. Faked screenshots, invalid submissions, or repeated dishonest reporting can get you removed from the ladder.
No. Pubstar is fully solo and totally separate from team competition. You can compete on the ladder as a free agent, as a rostered team player, or as a community member who isn't registered for league play at all. Some players use Pubstar to stay sharp during the offseason; others use it as their main competitive outlet year-round.
One match per week. The default match night is Saturday at 10pm EST. Teams may mutually agree to reschedule within the same week if needed - just coordinate with your opponent and let an admin know.
5v5 Search and Destroy (SND), first to 12 rounds, on one designated map per week. Stats are best tracked at 5v5 - teams may agree to 4v4 in extreme circumstances but it is not the standard.
The map rotation is set each season through a combination of community voting and admin selection. The current map list is always posted on the Game Settings page, found under League Guidelines.
Kills, deaths, and bomb plants are submitted and tracked weekly. Stats feed directly into the league standings and individual leaderboards. League leaders in kills, plants, and deaths are highlighted across the site, and standout performances earn badges that show on your player profile.
Yes. Teams register with a fully custom name, tag, and logo. There are no mandatory franchise assignments or city branding requirements. Your team identity is yours.
The hard cap is 10 players per roster. In practice, 5 - 6 active players is the sweet spot. If your group is larger than 10, consider splitting into two separate teams - it keeps competition healthy and everyone playing.
Drip League uses an automated Create Channel hub in Discord for match night voice. Join the ✚ Create Channel voice channel at the top of the voice list in the Drip Discord and a private voice channel is automatically created for your squad. Use
/voice-lock to secure it, /voice-limit to cap the member count, and /voice-rename to name it. As soon as you join your new channel, our bot automatically posts the full command list in the channel's built-in text chat, so you always have the reference on hand without leaving the voice channel.Your team's Join Code is available in your Captain Dashboard at any time after registration. Share it with any player you want to add - they enter it in the Team Join Code field when completing their registration at dripleague.gg/player-registration and they'll be automatically linked to your roster. Players can be added throughout the season up to the 10-player hard cap.
The Captain Dashboard is your full team management hub. Your team's Join Code is permanently displayed at the top of the dashboard with a one-click copy button - share it with players any time. From there you can also manage your roster, update your team's info (region, skill level, play times, bio, and logo), toggle team recruiting on or off to list your team in the Team Marketplace, and connect a private Discord webhook for instant application notifications when a free agent applies to your team. Co-Captains have the same dashboard access as the Captain.
They're the three subscription tiers that unlock visibility, marketplace, and profile perks across Drip League. Each tier stacks on top of the previous one. Subscriptions are managed through Discord Server Subscriptions - you subscribe directly through Discord and your perks activate on the website automatically within a few minutes. Subscribing also helps fund the league and supports continued development of new features for the community.

The premium Season Pass is now bundled automatically with Drip Pro and Drip Elite subscriptions - if you're subscribed at PRO or ELITE, the full premium track unlocks for you the moment your subscription activates. Yes. Loadout rules are updated each season based on the current game's competitive meta. Specific weapons, attachments, and mods may be restricted or outright banned for balance reasons. The full list is always current on the Loadout Restrictions page, found under League Guidelines. Check it before every match night.
No bonus points are awarded for individual actions. Stats are tracked for record-keeping and leaderboard purposes only. Match outcomes are determined purely by round wins.
Captains who need to step away can request a team disband from their Captain Dashboard. An admin reviews the request and either approves the disband (releasing all players back to the Free Agent pool so they can find new teams) or rejects it and promotes a co-captain to keep the team active. Any past-due matches for disbanded teams are automatically forfeited by a daily background process. Teams that go inactive without filing for disband may have their remaining matches recorded as byes or wins for their opponents at admin discretion. Repeated forfeits without a disband request can result in removal from the standings.
