Anti-Cheat Measures
PC Players

- VOD Requests - Opposing teams may request VODs if suspicious activity is observed, provided they submit clear clips to justify the request. Admins and the accusing team will review together.
- Windows License - An activated Windows license is required for all PC players.
Console Players
Console players are encouraged to stream their perspective for investigation purposes. Technical issues such as incomplete VODs or internet hiccups will not result in penalties.
Monetary Tournaments
During monetary tournaments, all PC players must use monitored cameras. Teams may request a CODcaster from admins to observe matches.

- Team accountability - The cheating player is permanently expelled and the entire team roster is also banned. Any match the player participated in will be overturned and awarded to the opposing team(s).
- Exception - If the cheater is reported by their own team before a dispute is raised by another party, only the individual player will be banned. The team will not face further sanctions.

Post-Match Anti-Cheat Process
Submit a Ticket
Open a ticket in #start-here on Discord with concise clips of the suspicious activity clearly outlined.
Clip Review
Admins and experienced players review the submitted clips to determine whether further investigation is warranted.
VOD Request
If warranted, a secondary ticket is created requesting the accused player's full match VODs.
Admin Review
Admins and experienced players review the VODs for evidence of cheating or rule violations.
Final Action
Appropriate action is taken based on findings - ranging from a formal warning and continued monitoring to a permanent league ban.
Penalty Ladder
Drip League uses a structured penalty system for rule violations. Penalties escalate based on severity and repeat offenses. League staff reserves the right to skip tiers for serious violations.
| Tier | Penalty | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Verbal Warning | Private notice from admin. Documented internally. No public action taken. |
| 2 | Written Warning | Formal written notice. Recorded on the player's record. Serves as final warning before suspensions. |
| 3 | 1-Match Suspension | Player is ineligible for the next scheduled match. Team must play without them or use a roster substitute. |
| 4 | Multi-Match Suspension | Player is suspended for 2 or more matches. Duration set by admin based on severity. May include Discord mute. |
| 5 | Season Ban | Player is removed from the current season. May not rejoin any team until the following season. Eligibility to return is reviewed by staff. |
| 6 | Permanent Ban | Player is permanently expelled from Drip League with no guarantee of reinstatement. Reserved for cheating, severe harassment, and repeat offenders. |
Notes
- Cheating violations skip directly to Tier 6 (Permanent Ban)
- Severe harassment may skip to Tier 4 or higher at admin discretion

- Captains may receive escalated penalties for violations committed by their team if negligence is demonstrated
